Bright Eyes Project: Photography on Display
|Category: Art Exhibits|
The Carlos G Figueroa Foundation is a non-profit that promotes awareness of the condition of homelessness in anticipation that positive changes will take place in their lives due to public effort.
The Bright Eyes Project was conceived to promote compassion and awareness among our citizens while empowering homeless individuals to participate in a project that will interface them with the masses.
Personal Mission Statement:
That all people be given the opportunity and resources to rise to their expectations. That all people be guaranteed the right to food, clothing, shelter and a quality of life that does not depreciate their presence.
Participant photography will be exhibited on the wooden towers in the café area of the Joel D. Valdez Main Library during the month of February.
