Tucson's only authentic Japanese gardens reopen for the Fall 2017 season on October 1, featuring five styles of classical Japanese landscape design, as well cultural events such as tea ceremonies, exhibits of Japanese art and handicrafts, classes in traditional customs such as Japanese flower arranging, a museum, and a gift shop. Open 9:30-4:30 Tuesday-Saturdays; Noon- 4:30 p.m. Sundays. Closed Mondays. Thanksgiving Day, Dec. 24, 25 & 30, and New Year's Day. Admission: Adults $9; Seniors (65+) $8; Students & Military (w/ID) $7; Children 3-15 $5; Children 2 and under free. Reduced admission for groups of 10 or more with two week's advance notice of visit.
