The Tucson Chapter of the International Association of Astronomical Artists’ The Art of Space at the Tucson International Airport, Center Gallery will run through November 30, 2017. Closing Reception Thursday, November 30 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. All Welcome!

The Art of Space Exhibition showcases the works from Astronaut Ron Garan, Dr. William K. Hartman, Earl Billick, Theresa Hentz, Dinah Jasensky, and Founders and Co-Chairs of Tucson-Chapter of the IAAA Simon Kregar & Michelle Rouch.

The IAAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Art genre known as Space art or Astronomical art. Since 2013 the Tucson-Chapter of the IAAA has been instrumental with local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Outreach communities, promoting a human presence in space through outreach events at the Children’s Museum, Pima Air and Space Museum, Flandrau Planetarium, Biosphere 2 Earth Day, Festival of Books, and University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory. The Tucson-Chapter of the IAAA also has semi-permanent exhibitions at the OSIRIS Rex Mission Control, The Biosphere 2 and the World View Spaceport Tucson.
