SECOND NOTICE


The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) proposes to issue Air Quality Renewal Permit No. 6215 to Sierrita Gas Pipeline, LLC (Sierrita Compressor
Station) at S. Ajo Way, Tucson AZ. The air contaminants to be emitted include, PM10, CO, NOx, SOx, VOC, and HAPS. The permit documents can be viewed on the PDEQ website and during normal business hours at the PDEQ office.
For further information,
please call (520) 724-7400.

Any person may submit a
written comment or a request to PDEQ to conduct a public hearing for the purpose of
receiving oral or written
comments on the proposed permit or revision. Such
comments and requests shall be received by PDEQ no later than October 15, 2017. A
written comment shall state the name and mailing address of the person, shall be signed by the person, his agent or his attorney and shall clearly set forth the reasons why the
permit should or should not be issued. Grounds for comment are limited to whether the
proposed permit meets the
criteria for issuance
prescribed in the Arizona
Revised Statutes Section
§ 49-481 and Title 17 of the
Pima County Code. Only
persons who submit written comments may appeal a
permit decision.

Sealed bids for Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 270656 - Pima County Conventional Home Weatherization for the Pima County Community
Development and
Neighborhood Conservation
Department will be received by the date and time indicated
below to the Pima County
Procurement Department
offices located in the County Administration Building,
130 West Congress Street,
3rd Floor, Tucson, Arizona 85701. Bids must be
accompanied by a surety bond of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.

This Contract will provide a broad range of weatherization services to Pima County
residents at the request of and as ordered by Pima County.
Potential services may include roof or furnace removal and
replacement, window or door replacement, plumbing,
electrical and other related work. The bid is based on a schedule of unit prices for
anticipated tasks that will be the basis for pricing individual jobs. Each job must be
completed within the schedule
established in the Delivery
Order for that job.

The intent of this solicitation is to award a shared indefinite
delivery / indefinite quantity
(ID/IQ) contract in the annual amount of $250,000 with up to two (2) qualified Contractors. The contract will include an
option for up to four (4)
additional one-year renewals. There is no minimum
guarantee of work or that the renewal options will be
exercised.

A five-percent (5%) preference will be applied to bids
submitted by City of Tucson
certified Small Business
Enterprises. The SBE vendor list available at http://www.
tucsonprocurement.com/bidders_SBE.aspx

contains the current listing of approved SBE firms that may potentially receive the
five-percent (5%) preference. Each job must be completed within the schedule established in the task order for that job.

The work will be primarily
residential. All bidders must hold a valid license issued by the State of Arizona Registrar of Contractors and maintain same throughout the duration of the contract term. Failure to maintain said license may be grounds for default of the
contract and subsequent
termination. As a minimum qualification, one person of the Contractor's firm must possess certification by the Building
Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst Professional. To substantiate compliance with this minimum
qualification, bidders shall
submit with their bid Proof of Current BPI certification for a Building Analyst Professional for the person who will be
doing the Diagnostic
Procedures and Combustion Area Zone (CAZ) Testing.

Contracts resulting from this
solicitation will be funded by Community Development Block Grant Funds issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
Furthermore, as services under resulting Contracts will not
involve complexes of 12 units or greater, provisions of the
Davis Bacon Wage Act will not apply.
