Events Calendar

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update: The Arizona Daily Star calendar team is continuing our ongoing efforts to keep the Tucson.com calendar listings accurate even as rapid changes within the community occur. We ask that you contact the venue of any event you are interested in attending to confirm that the event is still proceeding as planned.
This five-day summer camp for middle and high school students interested in architecture will teach participants how to draw by hand and on the computer and construct models in the CAPLA Materials Lab. Participants will also learn about careers in sustainability and in the design field. Participants will work with practicing architects and architecture students and use real tools and materials and experience real buildings. Returning campers can sign up for the advanced, interdisciplinary camp with the College of Engineering July 13-17. The advanced camp will focus on design and water harvesting/consumption. Registration will not be available until March 2020. Registration for each camp will remain open until capacity is reached. Middle school students can sign up for June 1-5 and June 15-19 weeks. High school students can sign up for June 8-12 and June 22-26 weeks. Advanced camp is open to all grades.
