Availability of the
Final Records of Decision for IRP Sites ST-35 and ST-52 at
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB) announces
publication of the Final
Records of Decision (ROD)s for Environmental Restoration Program (IRP) Sites ST-35 and ST-52.
The Proposed Plans at sites ST-35 and ST-52 indicate that DMAFB has evaluated the soil and groundwater
characteristics and has
determined that there are no unacceptable risks to human health or the environment. The preferred alternative is No Further Action (NFA) at sites ST-35 and ST-52.
The Proposed Plans for NFA were made available to the public during a 30-day public comment period from April 5, 2017 to May 4, 2017.
There were no comments
received during the public
The Arizona Department of
Environmental Quality has
reviewed all documents
associated with the proposed NFA site closures and concur that NFA is necessary and signed these RODs
on January 30, 2018.
The RODs will be available for review starting on
December 23, 2018, at the
Joel D. Valdez Main Library,
101 N. Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ.
